Oh, those beautiful, helpful, and somewhat messy emotions! They may burst out when we least expect them — especially when we are grieving. The loss of family, friends, jobs, health, our sense of self, may be overwhelming. No matter how much we may be in touch with ourselves, intense grief can really knock us off our feet.
